water supply source and recharge areas, evaluation of surface water
/ groundwater interactions including stream depletion evaluations,
determination of balanced maximum sustainable production rates,
evaluation of contaminant impact sourcing, isotope studies for
evaluating water supply sources, chemical groundwater
characterization and three dimensional aquifer modeling,
contamination mitigation planning, support for California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) or National Environmental Policy

Full investigation and characterization of aquifer systems, water
quality and production capability assessments, watershed evaluation,

Development of water resource management plans including forecasted

Because of the complexities involved in managing water
resources, those responsible for solving water supply issues and
evaluating overall water needs require proven expertise. JWI
uses a combination of advanced field methods, laboratory
analyses, and advanced two-dimensional and 3-D modeling
techniques to conduct our investigations, analyses, and plan
development. Recent typical investigations include groundwater
basin conceptual model development, impact analyses for
groundwater development to support CEQA and/or NEPA
documentation; surface water and wetlands sampling and
characterization, spring source investigation, determining
connectivity between aquifers, confined and semi-confined
aquifer delineation, vertical and horizontal groundwater flow
analysis, design, and aquifer pumping evaluations.
