Paul is a registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering with over 14 years of experience in the environmental industry, with particular expertise in solid waste management. Paul also has extensive experience conducting facility inspections, compliance monitoring, waste treatment design, treatment system operation, and permitting for chemical facilities, landfills, research facilities, semi-conductor facilities, brown fields and underground storage tank (UST) sites. The programs associated with these facilities included the Federal NPDES program, RCRA program, state-lead programs and local implementing agency programs. 

Prior to joining JWI, Paul was the head of the northern California engineering department for a leading national solid waste company. In this capacity, Paul was responsible for managing engineering projects for multiple facilities including operating and closed landfills, solid waste collection facilities, and recycling/transfer facilities. Key projects included landfill cell development, landfill final closure projects, landfill expansions, gas and leachate systems, environmental impact mitigation projects, post closure maintenance and facility permitting. 

At JWI, Paul is developing our solid waste and recycling practice areas, in addition to handling our traditional environmental services projects. Paul brings a wealth of engineering experience to JWI, and we look forward to discussing opportunities for him to assist you with your projects.
